The primary activity of the BWB is set out in Section 29 of the Water Services Act:
“The primary activity of a water board is to provide water services to other water services institutions within its service area.”
At a glance:
Bushbuckridge Water’s primary responsibility is to provide bulk-water services to other water services institutions such as municipalities.
Bushbuckridge Water is currently operating and maintaining fourteen water schemes. Operations comprise of nine water schemes in BLM, and five water schemes in MLM. The average daily production capacity is 182 ML/day (90ML/day at MLM and 92ML/day at BLM).
