The role of BWB is to put power to pipes. Some are dry today, which poses the greatest challenges to the board. Intervention strategies such as “Operations Lunghisa”, means the water board will declare war on leaks and unauthorised connections with the hope of injecting life to the dry pipes. For the board to extend services to those who don't have and to operate the systems continuously, through its “Operations Patela” the board will continue encourage payment of services provided.
